Stories of Deconstruction in Action
Kona Village Resort, HI
The Kona Village Resort project is the largest deconstruction effort Re-use Hawaiʻi has completed. Working with Kennedy Wilson, our team carefully dismantled buildings and salvaged materials that could be reused instead of discarded. In 2018, the project diverted 1,024,000 pounds of resources from disposal, supporting waste reduction and reuse on Hawaiʻi Island.
