WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Nat oversees our workforce development program, a social enterprise where employment, training, and supportive services are provided to those with barriers to employment.

DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING & STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS

Mariane develops and leads Re-use Hawai‘i’s fundraising and communications strategies, cultivating partnerships and donor relationships that strengthen the organization’s mission and visibility.

Michaela Savage

DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION

Michaela collects and analyzes all of the organization’s financial and waste diversion data, oversees human resource requirements, and provides technical and operational support.

Quinn Vittum

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Quinn supports and oversees the organization's directors and managers to execute programs, initiatives and strategies. He works with our volunteer board of directors for future planning, financial oversight and to develop community support.

Austin Gaskins

TREE MILLING AND MATERIAL PROCESSING MANAGER

Austin oversees Re-use Hawai‘i’s Material Processing Department and Local Tree Reclamation Program. He works hands-on with salvaged lumber and donated tree logs, preparing them for reuse for the community. His leadership and technical expertise are instrumental in advancing waste diversion efforts and transforming reclaimed materials into valuable community resources.

Shayden Glenn

DECONSTRUCTION PROJECT DEVELOPER

Shayden works with potential clients to establish projects for the Deconstruction Services Program. She ensures that budgeting and operating goals are achieved on acquired deconstruction projects.

Ranasha Kanahele

COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING MANAGER

Ranasha leads Re-use Hawaiʻi's communications and marketing initiatives, sharing the organization's mission through storytelling, digital media, and community engagement. She works closely with partners, donors, volunteers, and the public to promote Re-use Hawaiʻi's programs, strengthen community connections, and inspire more people to support a more sustainable Hawaiʻi.

Robert Malabey

DECONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Rob leads Re-use Hawaiʻi's deconstruction team, overseeing projects from planning through completion. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork, he helps recover valuable building materials while ensuring every project reflects our commitment to sustainability and community impact.

Michael “Miko” Morris

EQUIPMENT MANAGER

Miko oversees Re-use Hawaiʻi's equipment fleet, ensuring tools, vehicles, and machinery are maintained, repaired, and ready to support daily operations. His expertise and dedication help keep projects running safely and efficiently across the organization.

Jeffrey Costa

DECONSTRUCTION TEAM LEAD

Jeffrey leads his crew through the scope of each deconstruction by the project deadline, ensures site safety, acts as a liaison for general contractors and subcontractors, and helps secure client satisfaction. Jeff is known on his team for being organized and persistent. 

Joseph “Max” Maxilom

LUMBERYARD LEAD

Max oversees Re-use Hawaiʻi's Lumberyard, helping customers find reclaimed materials while ensuring donated lumber is organized, processed, and ready for its next use. His knowledge of reclaimed wood and commitment to customer service help give salvaged materials a second chance.

Ian Hill

DECONSTRUCTION TRUCKER TEAM LEAD

Ian leads Re-use Hawaiʻi's Deconstruction Trucker Team, coordinating the safe transport of salvaged materials from project sites to their next destination. He works closely with the deconstruction crew to ensure valuable building materials are recovered, handled with care, and prepared for reuse.

Iwa Malabey

LEAD INVENTORY SPECIALIST

Iwa oversees Re-use Hawaiʻi's inventory operations while helping manage receiving and donated materials. She ensures incoming donations are accurately processed, organized, and ready to support the organization's programs. Her attention to detail and commitment to efficiency help keep valuable resources in circulation and connected with the community.

David “Maka” Taumalolo

DECONSTRUCTION TEAM LEAD

Maka leads Re-use Hawaiʻi's Deconstruction Team, overseeing projects that carefully dismantle buildings to recover valuable materials for reuse. His leadership, experience, and commitment to safety help ensure materials are diverted from the landfill and given a second life in the community.

SALES TEAM LEAD

Ariel leads Re-use Hawaiʻi's Sales Team, creating a welcoming shopping experience while helping customers discover unique reclaimed materials and products. He works closely with staff to support daily store operations and connect the community with the mission of reuse.
