Reuse Store for Sustainable Materials
We make sustainable building accessible in Hawai‘i by offering reclaimed building materials, secondhand furniture, and hardware that keep valuable resources in use and out of the landfill.
What You’ll Find For Sale At Our Store
Why We Charge for Donated Materials?
At Re-use Hawai‘i, every item has a story. When materials are donated, our team carefully salvages, sorts, and prepares them for reuse. Selling these items allows us to cover the cost of labor, transportation, storage, and safety, keeping materials moving and giving people a second chance at employment.
Some items may seem pricey at first glance. High-value pieces like hardwood lumber, solid wood cabinets, or specialty materials require careful deconstruction, transport, and storage. Even so, our prices are typically below retail, offering long-term value while sustaining our programs.

What is a Circular Economy?
Circular Economy this, Circular Economy that – What is it and why should we care?
A circular economy is a regenerative system that aims to keep products, materials, and resources in use for as long as possible. Instead of following the traditional linear path of take–make–dispose, circular systems are designed for reuse, repair, remanufacturing, and composting.
Why A Circular Economy In Hawai‘i Matters
