Just like a book library but for tools. The HNL Tool Library gives members access to a wide range of tools for gardening, home improvement, DIY projects, and more. Opening this March with monthly workshops to build skills and community.
The More We Share, the More We Have
While the Tool Library may look like a simple alternative to a tool rental facility, it's much more than that. By accepting donated tools and bringing people together to share them, the HNL Tool Library is here to facilitate an interconnected community.
We're bridging the gap between those who have but don't need and those who need but don't have, creating a community with more access and less excess. Helping our members and volunteers understand this is at the core of what we do, empowering everyone with a sense of communal responsibility and care for one another.

Looking For Volunteers!
We’re getting ready to open the HNL Tool Library in March, and we need volunteers to help make it happen
We’re looking for:
Tool Librarians — help members check tools in and out and keep things running smoothly.
Tool Repair Techs — help maintain and fix tools so they’re ready for community use.
