Donate Your Materials

More than one third of Oahu’s waste is construction and demolition debris. Salvaging material for reuse saves resources and energy, creates jobs, and provides a locally produced resource. Your donation directly supports our operation to reduce waste through building material reuse and recycling.

Buying salvaged material instead of new minimizes the need to grow, produce and transport new material to our islands. Re-use Hawai‘i offers the community two retail locations - on Oahu and Hawaiʻi Island - that are open to the public, stocked with salvaged building material from structures we've deconstructed on Oahu, as well as community donations of building material.
