Deconstruction Crew

Deconstruction Crew members work as a team to safely and efficiently disassemble buildings and structures, salvaging materials for reuse and recycling. The position is full-time M-F from 7:00am-4:00pm and will take place at project job sites island wide. Qualified applicants must have reliable transportation. Inventory Specialist

Inventory Specialists are responsible for the maintenance and organization of our material inventory and data system. This position is full-time M-F from 8:45am-5:15pm and all work is performed at the Re-use Hawaii Redistribution Center located in Kakaako. Qualified applicants should have proficient computer skills, organizational skills, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. Click here for a full description









Truckers

Deconstruction Program Trucker

Deconstruction Program Truckers are responsible for the timely and efficient transfer of material salvaged by the Deconstruction Program. This is a full-time position. Hours are from 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Program Truckers visit Re-use Hawai'i deconstruction sites in various locations on the island, load material onto a flatbed truck, and transport that material back to our Retail Warehouse in Kakaako. Qualified applicants should have good communication skills, a valid drivers license, and the ability to load and unload trucking equipment. This is a physically demanding position. Customer Service

Customer Service Crew

Members of our Customer Service Crew help assist community members shopping for salvaged building materials, help manage the materials, and much much more. Positions are avialable for both full-time and part-time applicants. Hours are from 8:45am - 5:15pm and will include up to 4 weekday shifts and at least one weekend shift. All work is performed at the Re-use Hawaii Retail Warehouse in Kakaako. Qualified applicants should have good communication skills, building material knowledge, and be able to lift up to 50 lb. frequently. This is a physically demanding position. Jae processing

Material Processor

The Material Processor position is to work with the incoming salvaged lumber and denial it and document it in order to prepare it for reuse. The position is full time or part time M-F from 9:00am - 4:00pm. This is a great position for students. All work is performed at the Re-use Hawaii Retail Warehouse in Kakaako. Qualified applicants should have proficiency with basic hand tools, be able to lift up to 50 lb. frequently, and be able to perform repetitive physical work. Click here for a full description
